Talk:Ozone generator
Appearance
Since ozone has pas been proven (http://www.epa.gov/oar/oaqps/gooduphigh/bad.html) damaging to humans in the air, how could it benefit humans? I could understand if say, ozone is very insoluble so doesn't concentrate in water very easily. I could also think that since ozone has been proven to hurt with breathing, drinking it wouldn't agitate the lungs. However, ozone could also displace oxygen in the blood and affect metabolism. Someone has to be able to find something on this. Discuss.
- The idea is quite similar to alcohol therapy for patients at risk of repeat heart-attacks, or chemotherapy/radiation therapy for cancer victims. It's not that it's good for you, it's that it's less bad than the alternatives. I don't see this as a dubious statement, with only a handful of exceptions, all 'drugs' are harmful to the body in some manner, including even aspirin. A huge variety of them, even some of the most harmful, are useful in limited applications where they help combat some other affliction.
- I'm more concerned about this section breaking NPOV than I am that it's dubious. Unless anybody comments in the next few days I'm going to change the tags. Talk:Ozone_therapy is also probably more relevant. Corwinoid 09:27, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
